Academic
Since 2010 my activities in the academic field involved
- translating articles for architectural journals CANDIDE and Stadtbauwelt;
- extensive multi-lingual translation work for the University of Luxembourg in the fields of Social Sciences and Gender Studies;
- collaboration on 2 projects of the Max-Planck-Institut für
empirische Ästhetik (Lexikon Schriften über Musik, vol. 1 and 2).
Music-related
Due to my life-long passion for music (I play piano and bandoneón) I also started translating for German music publishers in 2009:
Books featuring Glenn Gould, Beethoven, Chopin, Diaghilew and the Cuban ballet dancer Carlos Acosta (all at Schott) and Mozart (Bärenreiter/Metzler).
Prefaces and remarks on interpretation (into English) for major German and Austrian music publishers such as Bärenreiter, Breitkopf and Wiener Urtext
